their business in a small way, is very particular about two aspects of the business. One
is Customer satisfaction and another is Quality commitment.
Gala not only felt quality is important and also felt it has to go with
modern management techniques and global customer requirement for setting the strong base.
Gala has built the quality culture across the organization and
continuously focusing on the reinforcement in training, systems and technology.
On the technological advancement, it was focused on the latest measuring
equipments. Trimas 2D Measurement was installed in 2004. Special Microscope with 130x
magnification installed.
The State of art measurement technology through optics called
Optical-measuring Instrument was installed in Apr 2006. The OGP Flash 200 has very high
accuracy 0.0018 mm and amazing speed. This has imparted strength to the New product
development activities and reverse engineering.
There are other instruments like Mitutoyo Profile projector & Surface
roughness testers added capabilities.
Gala has institutionalized the 5S practices and regularly conduction
internal audits and kept the factory neat and tidy.
Kaizen initiatives are made company wide and senior team is involved in
the break through improvements.
All the above initiatives put Gala as a forerunner in Quality
in the international business scenario. Gala is continuously working for improvements.
